MXDB FPGA Development Board
The Out of the Box MAX 10 Development Board (MXDB) is a powerful device in a breadboard compatible package. The MXDB was designed for education of Digital Logic and Computer systems. At the University of Florida, this device has been used to teach from the basics of gate circuits up to the implementation of a primitive CPU.
MXDB Features:
10M02SCU169C8G 2K logic element Intel FPGA
Novice friendly.
To prevent accidental damage, the device has a jumper to disable writing from peripherals attached to the FPGA
Supports USB power and communication (FT-240X FIFO)
Equipped with 4 discrete LEDs and two 7-segment displays for data visualization and programming basics
36 available general purpose input/output pins
Parallel flash memory for teaching the use of ROM based state machines
Flash Programmer GUI program is used to program the external ROM over USB
Includes USB 2.0 cable
FPGA programming requires an external programmer
